Pro questions
How do saved connections stay secret if they're on your server?
Your saved connections are encrypted in your browser before they're sent to us, using a key derived from your account password. That key never leaves your browser, so we store only ciphertext — a database backup, an insider, even a subpoena can't turn it back into your passwords. One honest caveat: while you're actively connected, your credentials pass through our server to reach your FTP/SFTP server, as with any hosted client. The vault protects your credentials at rest, not the live connection itself.
Why does lifetime activation take up to 24 hours?
Lifetime purchases go through a payment link, and we verify each purchase against the receipt number you provide before activating Pro. Most are verified well within 24 hours — Pro activates automatically on your account, no email needed. Monthly subscriptions activate instantly via Stripe's webhooks.
What happens to my vault if I cancel Pro?
Your vault stays encrypted on your account — nothing is deleted at downgrade. You just can't connect from it or manage it until Pro is active again. If you delete the account, the vault and its encrypted contents are permanently erased.
Can I use Pro on multiple devices?
Yes. Sign in on any device and unlock the vault with your account password — your saved connections sync across devices automatically, still readable only by you.
